: : Hello,

: : I am looking for help with a sick goat.

: NEW TO GOATS MYSELF BUT I DID HAVE WORMS TO HIT MY LAST MONTH AND I LOST ABOUT 5 BEFORE I FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS.

Hi, And thanks for your response. I couldn't handle the animal suffering anymore so I took him to a vet. As you posted, he is full of worms. The doctor gave him some shots and gave him a slightly better than 50/50 chance of survival.

I'm force feeding gatoraide and something called albon suspension. Also medicating with some kind of vitamins every 12 hours. i have to go to the store and buy Ivermectin which i'm to give him according to the label.

I'll have to go without something this month to cover the vet bill. I hope the little goat survives. If he does, I'll probably have a good friendly goat from all the attention he's getting.
