: : : Hello,

: : : I am looking for help with a sick goat.

:
: : NEW TO GOATS MYSELF BUT I DID HAVE WORMS TO HIT MY LAST MONTH AND I LOST ABOUT 5 BEFORE I FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS.

:
: Hi, And thanks for your response. I couldn't handle the animal suffering anymore so I took him to a vet. As you posted, he is full of worms. The doctor gave him some shots and gave him a slightly better than 50/50 chance of survival.

: I'm force feeding gatoraide and something called albon suspension. Also medicating with some kind of vitamins every 12 hours. i have to go to the store and buy Ivermectin which i'm to give him according to the label.

: I'll have to go without something this month to cover the vet bill. I hope the little goat survives. If he does, I'll probably have a good friendly goat from all the attention he's getting.
I'M GLAD YOU FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM AND I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT WITH THE GOAT. IF YOU DONT CARE LET KNOW KNOW HOW IT GOES. GOD BLESS
