: : i have 2 billy goats they r brothers. They r half nubian half boer goat. they r 8 months. Im thinking bout getting a nanny. how old is correct breeding age for these goats. and do goats beards get longer with age.

: THEY SHOULD BE PLENTY OLD ENOUGH FOR BREEDING. I HAVE A BOER BILLY RIGHT NOW THAT IS 9 MONTHS OLD AND HE IS DOING THE JOB. YES THEIR BEARDS DOES GROW WITH THEIR AGE. MY BOER BILLY IS JUST NOW BEGINNIG TO GET HIS BEARD. HOPE THIS HELPS. GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR GOATS.

IF YOU DO GET A NANNY I USUALLY WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE AROUND A YEAR OLD BEFORE BREEDING. IT HAS BEEN AROUND 10 MONTHS ON SOME BUT I TRY TO WAIT IF I CAN. EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT THOUGHTS ABOUT THE TIME TO BREED NANNIES THOUGH.
